Power and Performance
When you’re in the market for a pickup truck that offers a comfortable ride and poised handling, the 2023 Toyota Tundra is the vehicle for you. The Tundra’s base engine is powered by a twin-turbo 2.5-liter V6 engine that produces 348 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque; and the Tundra is available as an electric motor and twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine. It comes standard with a 10-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive is available.
The Titan also offers a smooth ride over some road surfaces, but critics found that its handling is heavy and hinders maneuverability at low speed. The Titan only has one available engine, and some critics found it to be lackluster at times, even with its smooth shifting nine-speed transmission. Rear-wheel drive is also standard in the Titan, and four-wheel drive is available.
Technology
The Tundra’s well-trimmed interior is paired with an easy-to-use infotainment system that has several standard features, including an 8-inch touch screen, six-speaker stereo, three USB ports, Wi-Fi hotspot, and more. You also have the option to splurge on available features like a larger 14-inch touch screen and 12-speaker stereo. This pickup truck is also equipped with plenty of standard safety and driver assistance features, such as forward automatic emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, and more.
The Titan also has a standard 8-inch touch screen, and its available touch screen is only a 9-inch. Even though this pickup truck isn’t equipped with the most cutting-edge system it is responsive. The Titan also shares some safety and driver assistance features with the Tundra; however, available features like adaptive cruise control and traffic-sign recognition don’t come standard in the Titan.
